Literally meaning 'Seven Waterfalls', 7 Cascades was named, it being located in the near vicinity of the waterfalls. With its 11 waterfalls and 13 abseils, deep ponds, cliff jumps and surrounding lush green vegetation, the Tamarind Falls, 7 cascades, undoubtedly represent one of the most spectacular natural sites of Mauritius.

The 7 Cascades Restaurant & Lodges has 5 identical lodges. Each lodge has one spacious and comfortable bedroom, one bathroom, a lounge area with a mini bar as well as a veranda. They have been designed to provide guests with peace and quiet during their stay. The lodges are surrounded by plants, most of them being endemic to our paradise island.

They have been designed to provide guests with peace and quiet in the privacy of their lodge during their stay.

One large family lodge which has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, bar and dining room as well as an outdoor covered dining/lounge area and an outdoor swimming pool. The Family Lodge can accommodate up to 8 people (2 per bedroom and 2 on a sofa bed in the lounge).

You can also request for the pool to be heated for an additional charge. The Family Lodge is a perfect place for groups and families to stay during events here.

There is a restaurant available at 7 Cascades Lodges. The restaurant has an adjoining bar which offers clients great cocktails and mocktails on their menu.

Standard Lodge

The 7 Cascades Restaurant & Lodges has 5 identical lodges. They are composed of one spacious comfortable bedroom, one bathroom, a lounge area with a mini bar as well as a veranda. The lodges can accommodate 2- 4 persons.They have been designed to provide guests with peace and quiet in the privacy of their lodge during their stay. They are surrounded by plants, most of them being endemic to our paradise island.

Family Lodge

The Family Lodge is composed of 3 comfortable bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an indoor lounge, a beautiful Bar and dining area as well as an outdoor lounge and dining area. As a very special feature, the family lodge also provides for a Swimming pool, which can be heated upon request. The Family Lodge can therefore accommodate maximum 3 couples and 2 kids on a sofa bed*Pool Heating is optional and will be charged an extra.

Small yet charming restaurant with a “unique view”. Welcomed by the friendly staff and your meals prepared by the restaurant local chef "Badoun".

The restaurant is open daily from 9am to 11pm and is open to the public. The open concept restaurant is open on most sides and overlooks the mountainous landscape below including mostly green forests all around. Beautiful wild flowers usually decorate each table of the restaurant and you can find great Mauritian entrees available every day.

Breakfast, lunch or dinner, have their own unique settings and changing scenery. You do not need to be staying at the lodges to enjoy a meal - Come and experience the Mauritian speciality of the lodges, dry beef curry and fish vindaye.

Activities

The 7 Cascades has plenty of activities both onsite and offsite to keep you busy during your stay here. These include: Pool table, ping pong, darts, football, tennis volley, and croquet. These are all free for lodge guests.

With the 7 Cascades being at the heart of the forest area, it’s the perfect spot to start your adventures through the jungle. The staff can help you setup any of the following activities:

• Katang Excursion:Hiking or ATV through the forest by the Tamarind falls reservoir, the nature park full of deer and plants, Le Morne lagoon and a visit to the famous Ganga Talao statue.
• Mare Longue Reservoir:ATV trip through the green fields until you reach the reservoir surrounded by tall pine trees on every side.
• Around the 7 Cascades:Explore 3 different beautiful viewpoints of the magnificent 7 cascading waterfalls just nearby the resort. Hiking can take around 1-2 hours but it’s well worth it to see the breathtaking waterfalls.

7 Cascades Nature Trails

Visitors to 7 Cascades can expect to see some spectacular scenery and views as they wander or bike ride along picturesque paths. Most of the walking and bike paths stretch along the heights ensuring an abundance of natural flora and fauna.

Wake up and take a morning jog or take a leisurely cycle in the evening on the nature trails. The peaceful setting and tranquillity, paired with the sport junkie in you will be pleased.
