Following an eco-design approach, these "dreaming" bubbles aim to provide a fully renewable ecotourism device, with no impact on the environment, with a minimum of matter and energy.

Tea Factory

Aside from the great landscape, the Bois Cheri Tea Factory represents an important piece of local history.You will be able to see the machinery in action if the production is ongoing. The tea production starts in the morning. So probably the best time to visit is in the morning hours. The factory isn’t that huge, but it is interesting to see the process for the manufacture of tea. They produce both green and black tea, but their signature tea is vanilla tea.

One thing is sure, your eyes and taste buds will marvel along the way. Bois Chéri is the second stop on the Mauritian Tea route, after Domaine des Aubineaux and before Saint Aubin. The visit includes a guided tour of Bois Chéri tea factory, a visit to the tea museum and to the tea plantation. A guide will lead you through the tour where you will discover the history and stories of Bois Chéri. To sum up this beautiful day, a tea tasting session (flavoured, green and herbal teas) is organized at Bubble Lodge Bois Chérii . This is one of the best parts of the visit.
