Diving Sessions In The Northern Coast Of Mauritius - Inclusions:

Transport is available for an additional supplement and will include pick up and drop off from any place / place of accommodation in Mauritius.

Morning:

• 08h00: Equipment preparation and briefing at the dive centre
• 08h30: Transfer equipment to the boat and head to the first dive site
• 10h00: Surface interval on the boat or on the beach (where toilets are available), accompanied by cold drinks and cakes.
• 10h45: Second dive site
• 12h15: Return to the dive centre

Afternoon:

• 12h45: Equipment preparation and briefing at the dive centre
• 13h30: Transfer equipment to the boat and head to the dive site

There is nothing as adventurous as exploring the deep waters of the colourful South Indian Ocean during your vacation in Mauritius, and the Exploration Dives offer just that.

Dfferent types of diving are offered on different sites, ensuring no two dives are ever the same – unless, of course, you choose to revisit your favourite spots.

This tropical island is a year-round diving destination, though the summer months (November to April) are optimum as the warmer waters attract a wider variety of marine life.

You will definitely have amazing encounters varying from sea sponges and clown fish hiding among the anemones to moray eels, angelfish, reef sharks, gorgeous coral reefs and not to forget some haunting shipwrecks dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries.

Diving In The Northern Coast Of Mauritius

The best diving spots in Mauritius are along the northern coast where there is a mix of shallow dives and more challenging dives. These dives are full of caves, tunnels and crevices which shelter a broad variety of porcupine fish, giant moray eels and titan triggerfish.

When diving off the coast of Mauritius, it is almost guaranteed that you will see tuna fish, rays, eels, turtles, lobsters, lion-fish, parrot-fish, crabs, sergeant-major fish and box-fish, just to name a few.

There are numerous dive sites strewn all over the island, including the North Coast. Beginners can start at the shallow side of the ocean, whereas experienced divers can head straight for the more adventurous dive sites such as cliffs, caverns, reefs, pinnacles and wrecks.

Situated on the Northern Coast of Mauritius, the eco-friendly diving centre offers amazing diving experiences around the five incredible islets which are considered great diving spots with depths and topographies for all levels.

The full-time and highly trained instructors provide diving courses and programs designed to suit your needs. Beginners and experienced divers can choose their own training path through several international Scuba Diving organisations including TEK training courses. Diving sites include; multilevel dives, caves, wreck explorations, cliffs, coral gardens, shark dives, drift dives and safari dives.

All organisations are welcome: PADI, SSI, BSAC, CMAS, NAUI, FFESSM, ANMP, SDI, TDI, CEDIP Etc …

• Divers must bring their log books and diving qualification certificates

• Dives are still carried out under rain unless safety is compromised
• These dive packages are only valid at the diving centre in the north of Mauritius.
• Reservation: Required 48 hours in advance and is subject to availability.

Restriction:

• Age Restriction: 10 years old
• For minors under 18 years of age, the consent forms and liability release forms must be signed by a parent or legal guardian.
• A medical certificate stating no indication against diving must be provided on arrival
• All divers will be required to fill in a medical and liability form.
• Divers must bring their log books and diving qualification certificates.
• Prerequisites: From Level 1 – Open Water
• The diving trip is not suitable for pregnant women.
