Casela Nature Park is a real nature and adventure park; few of the activities that you will be able to experience are the Giraffe and pygmy hippo viewing, Walk through the bird aviary, the Tulawaka Gold Coaster and many more.

The village of Chamarel in southwest Mauritius is home to two natural wonders - the magnificent Chamarel waterfall and the seven colored earth of Chamarel.

As part of this tour you will also drive through the Black River Gorges Nature Park, where you will see many endangered species of plants and animals. Along the way you will stop for a viewpoint of the Black River Gorges nature park and of Alexandra waterfalls.

Grand Bassin is a lake situated in a secluded mountain area in the district of Savanne, deep in the heart of Mauritius. The place has several Hindu temples and it’s a holy lake for Mauritians of Hindu faith. Beside the Grand Bassin you will also get to see the statue of Lord Shiva. The statue is of 108 feet (33 metres) and is the highest known statue in Mauritius (and one of the 50 highest statues in the world).

2. South Tour

As part of this tour you will see the Crocodile Farm & Nature Park, Bois Cheri- Tea Plantation and Factory, Saint Aubin Tea House, Grand Bassin, Mangal Mahadev- Shiva Statue and the village of Gris- Gris.

It’s a private and fun day tour that starts at 08:30 ends by 17:30

The first stop will be the Crocodile Farm & Nature Park. The park, which is home to various species of animals, reptiles and plants, is set in a beautiful forested valley with natural freshwater springs, full of prawns and fish. You will encounter some giant tortoises (turtles), and get a rare chance to feed, pet and play with them. There is also a mini zoo of Mauritian fauna where you can find most of the Mauritian mammals and reptiles.

The tour will continue with a visit to Bois Cheri which is the second stop in the Mauritian Tea Route tour. The Bois Cheri is the first and biggest tea producer in Mauritius, operating since 1892. After a guided tour of the factory, you will discover the history of tea while visiting the tea production museum.

You will then head to the Saint Aubin house. Built in 1819, the estate now produces sugar canes which are then processed to make sugar as well as the delicious agricultural rum.

Afterwards you will visit the holy lake of Grand Bassin followed by the cliffs of Gris-Gris in Souillac, found on the Southern tip of Mauritius. This is the only place in Mauritius where there is an opening in the barrier reefs circling Mauritius which results in big waves reaching the shores and crashing on the cliffs.

Enjoy a visit to Port- Louis, the capital of Mauritius. Port Louis is Mauritius' largest city and the economic and administrative centre of the island. Eureka House is a unique Creole house built in 1830 located by the river of Moka. 6. Tea Route Tour

Awaken your five senses as you discover the making of teas, rum, vanilla, essential oils - and as you stroll down the exotic gardens of the Bois Cheri tea plantation. The Tea Route Tour is a private tour that starts at 09:30 and ends by 16:30.

A guide will walk you around during your visit and will guide you on the history, stories and tales of all the sites. 7. Mauritius Wine & Rum Tour
